Strathmore 400 Series spiral bound sketch pad with perforated edge. 11 x 14 inches, smooth white paper, 50 sheets.

This is a nice size for practice. I would not recommend any smaller, for ease and accuracy for more complex constructions. Larger compass diameter must be considered for tablets larger than 18 x 24 inches.
