ensoOne is all inclusive.  Deriving from the universal perspective of self, One is knowing oneself.  To be in Oneness is the “hoop of life”.  How can you be any other way?  There is only one way to describe “be” when you include all that is.  One is all that is.  It defines all that is not.  The circle determines what is included and what is not.  In all “Isness”, what is outside of the circle is simply pure potentialities of what can be.  The philosophical paradox is infinite potentials exist while all or nothing is manifest.  From the vastness of the Void, the first awareness of Itself came into being.  The circle defines this “logos”, “om”, “word”, “primary consciousness”, “I AM presence”, “Brahma”, “God”, “Allah”, or “[your name goes here]” from the pure potential of infinite expressions through which it resides, like the first seed planted in fertile unplanted soil.

mandala colorful In Sanskrit, “Mandala” means both “circle” and “universe”.  A mandala is typically a 2 dimensional radially-symmetrical drawing or art.  Most all Sacred Geometry qualifies under this definition, and both can be used as a means for meditation.   I have used Sacred Geometry in a variety of meditative practices with a wide range of experiences resulting, from inner peace and calm lucid dreaming, to profound blissful heart radiance and very mystical multi-dimensional understandings.  It is because of the flowering of the higher Chakras, or Seals of the body from focused meditation that create a multi-dimensional portal where new possibilities unfold.

The circle has always represented never ending life.  In 2 dimensions we call it a circle.  Many cultures refer to it as a “hoop” or a “wheel” that never ends, whether through reincarnation, genetic lineage, observable cycles of nature, or deeper meanings that words do not express.  In 3 dimensions it could be a sphere, a helix, a cone, a vortex, a torus, a tube or a section through something like an egg.  In 4 dimensions, it has some sort of movement through space, such as the path of a moon around a planet as the planet hurls through space.  But our minds have a hard time understanding what a circle, or any form, might be in 5 dimensions.  It is in these higher dimensions that we begin to use the idea of the circle or oneness to describe our interconnectedness that transcends space and time.

Concepts of one in the higher dimensions become expressed through our art, poetry and music.  I’d like to leave you with some inspiring examples of One Mandala the Circle of Life…

Circle of Life

Lyrics by Tim Rice, composed by Elton John

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There’s more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

There’s far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It’s the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love

Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

It’s the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love

Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life
